McGuire Composite Squadron Meets Every Monday at Bldg 3412,McGuire AFB from 19:00-21:30 hrs
Welcome to the Thomas B. McGuire Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary
of the United States Air Force. I‘m so excited that you have decided to check us out. As you'll find on the
pages of this site, CAP offers something for everyone - whether your passion is working with youth or
flying, teaching and learning about aerospace programs or balancing the books.
All of us here at the McGuire Composite Squadron are proud to be part of CAP and its missions of
Emergency Services, Aerospace Education and Cadet Programs. These programs are partnered with our
Core Values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Volunteer Service.
Our squadron has both senior and cadet members. The CAP Cadet Program needs adult volunteers who
are willing to serve a cause that is larger than themselves. And we are always looking for new people to
join our team. Interested in making the difference in the life of a young adult? If so, then the CAP officer
program might be for you.
CAP’s Cadet Program trains young men and women between the ages of ages 12-18 in leadership,
character development and aerospace education. Beyond that, CAP challenges its cadets to excel
through a military based leadership program where they earn rank and earn increased responsibility.
Each member receives training with materials derived directly from CAP, USAF, FEMA and other
organizations. This program provides learning opportunities in a safe, challenging and real-life
environments. Our ultimate goal in training these youth is to shape them into our nation’s future leaders.
If you are not familiar with CAP and would like to learn more about us, I encourage you to come to a
couple of meetings, talk to our members, and find out more.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
