McGuire Composite Squadron Cadets Excel at NJ Wing Encampment

posted Jul 23, 2018, 5:06 PM by William Petzinger

Cadets from the McGuire Composite Squadron were among the more than 200 cadets who graduated from the Civil Air Patrol's NJ Wing Encampment. C/SSgt Alanna Hendrickson from McGuire Composite Squadron received Honor Cadet of the 2018 encampment.

During the week-long encampment, cadets attended classes covering topics such as military air power, core values, and a drug-free lifestyle.  Cadets participated in physical fitness and drill and ceremonies activities daily.  Orientation flights in CAP aircraft allowed cadets to experience flying firsthand. Throughout all activities, the values of discipline, teamwork, personal responsibility, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect were taught and encouraged.
