The McGuire Composite Squadron participated in opening ceremonies at a recent sold out game between the Trenton Thunder and the Erie Sea Wolves at Arm & Hammer Park.

Squadron Commander Lt. Peter Toth was among the honored guests throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. The squadron’s color guard walked on to the field and presented colors for the National Anthem.

But the highlight of the evening came during the game’s 7th inning stretch with a tribute to the U.S. service men and women.

The Trenton Thunder recognized U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Nicholas Freeman, crew chief, assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Freeman is also one of our squadron’s senior members.
